Fume Cupboard Technical Data Sheet MSH-1
Semi-mobile fume cupboard designed, manufactured and installed to DfEE Building Bulletin 88 for demonstration/ teaching use in educational establishments.
Standard colours; grey, white. Non stock colours to order.
Cupboards fitted with clear toughened glass on four sides for all round vision.

| Exterior | Epoxy coated framework with shaped front fascia having secondary air inlet above sash and low level air inlet below sill. |
| Interior | 6mm clear toughened glass for all round vision, silicone sealed joints with 2 piece removable t/glass baffles. |
| Workbase | Dished solid epoxy resin with cutout for drip cup. |
| Sash | 6mm frameless toughened glass hung on stainless steel cables over nylon ball raced pulleys with single counter-balance weight. Sash fitted with full length profiled handle with rise set to stop at 400mm working height. |
| Services | 1no panel mounted valve with cold water swanneck outlet. 1no panel mounted safety gas valve with bench outlet. 1no oval vulcathene 497 drip cup. 1no twin 13amp switched socket outlet. 1no switched fused spur for twin fluorescent luminaire. |

SERVICE CONNECTIONS.
Gas and water flexible pipes 1.8m long terminate with plug-in
fittings to connect to service manifold positioned 2m off floor.
Electrical fittings wired to flexible lead 1.8m long terminate with plug to connect to service manifold positioned 2m off floor.
Trapped drip cup waste terminates with a 38mm vulcathene pipe on a length of flexible waste for connection to drain by others.
Duct outlet; 1.8m length of 254mm dia’ flexible ducting with clip band connection to suitable extract.
Separate circuit required for fan control having means of isolation at cupboard and at fan motor.
